Make sure you have a rubber mallet or similar a flat headed screw driver, it is easy to assemble if you are on your own but would be very easy if you had someone to assist with assembley, I have assembled and placed mine in the kitchen and did not anchor it to the wall as its location is not suitable for the way it's usually anchored but I find it's very stable as it is, the wood for the shelves looks very good, and as the picture shows there is plenty if space.
