Constructed of industrial grade welded wire, Salsbury 9500S Series are certified by the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF). These wire shelving units are available in chrome plated or powder coated black finish as unassembled units only. These durable wire shelvings are 63 in. high and are available in 3, 4 and 5 ft. widths and depths of 18 in. or 24 in. Ideal for restaurants, hospitals, garages and many other storage applications. Assembly was challenging and the instructions were lacking some serious details. There were some "extra" parts not specified in the parts inventory. These being four(4) threaded inserts that should have been preinstalled into the bottom posts so the leveling feet could have been screwed in, as the instructions state. Do NOT use a sledge hammer to forcibly drive them into the posts. You will damage the posts on both ends if you do. I had the take the posts, with inserts in hand to a local automotive machine shop and had them pressed into the posts using their hydraulic bearing press. Assembly was easy after that. The shelves are sturdy and very well made. Good product.I will contact the manufacturer today and call this SERIOUS assembly oversight to their attention. Anyone trying to follow the furnished assembly instructions would not be able to proceed safely, if at all.ADDENDUM 2-21-19: I did call the Manufacturer and got nowhere. They said this product was made by a "vendor" and my concerns would be forwarded. I then re-inspected the box the shelving came in, and on the bottom of the box were the dreaded words: "Made in C***A". Again, this is a very good product, but be prepared to take your own remedial action for assembly.
