I was very nervous about pulling the trigger on these because they are expensive (but there are much more expensive ones out there). Thankfully I was pleasantly surprised by the quality when I unpacked them.The mounting brackets provided will give you every opportunity to hit a stud, which will make the shelves fairly sturdy. Unfortunately I did not hit more than one stud on two of them and they are relatively sturdy but won't hold up if I put some books or plates on them.If you don't hit a stud at all, don't put anything on them other than an ornament or two, the drywall plugs and screws don't give them much support.I'm not a fan of the custom brackets, they were each unique and could be a high gauge metal to give more support.Well built, beautifully made shelves. Just what I’ve been looking for. My kitchen cabinets stop before the end of the counter and it’s always bothered me. These shelves match and are perfect to fill in that area.I’m very impressed with the quality and craftsmanship of this shelf. Solid wood, mounting system is very sturdy and easy to installI bought one of these years ago and after moving, dug through years of purchases to find these in hope that they were still being made. Great product, easy to install, sturdy and solid quality, and easy to modify (i added glass racks under them for a bar feature).I am so happy with the shelves from this company. They're exactly what I've searched high and low for, they were packed extremely well, and shipped on time. The color is beautiful and you can't go wrong with these shelves and the seller's customer service. I would buy from the company again and highly recommend them!We got this to go on our brick fireplace wall. We used Tapcon concrete anchor screws and a mortar drill bit instead of the provided wall screws which worked very well. It was easy to install and looks great. The one thing to note is that the medium brown looks darker in the listing than it is in real life. It is definitely medium brown and not at all dark.This really amps up our fireplace wall. We would definitely buy this again if we needed another for some reason.Super impressed with quality for price! easy assembly with good instructions. Super solid. It was a bit too dark for me so I did a white wash stain. Wood grain is very textured, not a smooth finish, just fyi. Love it!I ordered 2 different colors brown and gray to see witch one looks better in my new kitchen, I love the brown one because my floor is brown and match perfect and I like the texture and everything, gives color to my white kitchen
